I offer piano lessons (beginner – Grades 1-2), melodeon lessons, and folk music lessons (any level, any instrument). As well as having a distinction in Grade 8 piano, my vast folk music experience lends itself to teaching children piano because playing by ear is a more engaging way to get children enthusiastic about music. I have taught beginner students piano, taught groups of musicians and led workshops, and taught a primary school music class through an outreach programme. I am keen to make lessons fun and generally musical, as well as progressing towards the desired grade or goal.
